Exceptional Children’s Committee

Supporting inclusion, understanding, and belonging for every Tritt Tiger.

The Exceptional Children’s Committee (ECC) works to increase visibility, awareness, and acceptance of students of all abilities while creating opportunities for students and families to connect within the Tritt community.

Inclusion Matters - Every Tiger Belongs

Every Tiger Belongs

Our goal is simple: to help build a school community where every child feels welcomed, understood, supported, and included.

Monthly Inclusion Resources for Families

Each month, the Exceptional Children’s Committee will share infographics on social media and in the Tiger Times focused on inclusion, understanding, and the many ways children learn, communicate, and experience the world.

These resources are created with families in mind. We encourage you to take a few minutes to review them with your child, talk through the examples together, and use them as a starting point for meaningful conversations at home.

Our hope is to provide simple, age-appropriate resources that help our Tigers better understand and appreciate the differences, experiences, and strengths of those around them.

💬 Keep the Conversation Going at Home

The questions and examples in each monthly infographic are meant to make conversations about belonging and inclusion feel approachable for children.

Even a few minutes of discussion can help students practice empathy, recognize different perspectives, and think about ways they can help others feel included at school and beyond.

We’d Love to Hear From You

We hope you find these resources helpful. If you have feedback, ideas, questions, or suggestions for future topics, we would love to hear from you.

Thank you for helping us build a school community where every Tiger belongs!
