| June 6th – 9th This four-day course will provide students with the opportunity to learn about Tritt Elementary’s place in the world! This hands-on class will spend time outside gardening and cooking our harvest, creating art work inspired by nature hikes, taking care of the Science Lab animals, and exploring all fields of science! What kind of paw print will your student leave at Tritt?
This half-day camp will be offered Monday-Thursday, June 6th – 9th from 8:30AM – 12:30PM & is open to rising first, second & third grade students. Class size is limited to the first 20 students to enroll. Cost is $180 per student, which includes all program materials. We will have a snack, but not lunch. Click here for the registration form. |
| June 6th – 9th Tritt Elementary is excited to offer our very first Technology Summer Camp! Rising students in grades 3 through 5 have the opportunity to sign up for this 4 day, hands-on camp, rich in 21st century skills and innovative resources. Areas of instruction include: - Sphero programmable robots
- Coding and Programming Apps
- LEGO robotics
- Code.org
- And more!
Our camp will run M-TH 8:30 am-12:30 pm. Each day includes a snack break and a recess break. Tech Summer Camp cost… $180. Checks can be made payable to “Tritt Elementaryâ€. | June 6th - 9th 12:30/1-3 pm With an emphasis on fun and a goal of graduating students grounded in touch typing skills, this camp offers rising 3rd -6th grade students an intensive in typing that will serve them well at Tritt and beyond. Students will use a variety of programs including Type to Learn and Dancemat Typing to support their growth. A typical day finds students alternating between focused at-their-own-pace practice periods, relaxing breaks, and typing games. Camp participation comes with a download of Type to Learn that can be used at home throughout the school year. So take the challenge - warm up those fingers and let’s get typing!
Typing Bootcamp Cost…… $70. Checks can be made payable to “Tritt Elementaryâ€. Excess funds will be used for upgrades in the computer labs and Learning Commons.

| June 6th - 9th Coach Jeff Rowland and the Pope Greyhound baseball staff would like to invite you to attend the 13th annual Pope Greyhound baseball camp on the campus of Alan C. Pope High school at the beautiful state of Georgia 2005 and 2012 baseball “Field of the Yearâ€! All facilities of our baseball field (field, indoor/outdoor batting cages, bullpens, and all softball facilities) will be used as well as both school gyms. June 6-9, we will be holding a fundamentals camp for athletes ranging from 6 – 11 years old (9:30-12 pm) and skills camps for athletes 12 – 15 years old (1-3 pm). | June 20th - 23rd The Pope Girls Varsity Basketball Program will be hosting the 8th annual girls summer camp. Come join us June 20th-23rd to learn fundamental skills, play games, and compete in tournaments for prizes while developing the love of the game. All skill levels are welcome, ages 7-15. | July 11th - 14th Following another Championship 2015-16 Season, the Pope Greyhound Fencing Club is holding its Eighth Annual Summer Camp. The camp is open to rising 6th graders and up through high school, as well as home schooled students in the same age groups. No experience is necessary and equipment will be provided for new fencers. Experienced fencers are also welcome. | June 6th - 9th TIME: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM LOCATION: Pope High School, 3001 Hembree Road, Marietta, GA. 30062 REGISTRATION: Register online on “2016 East Cobb Youth Football Camp†at www.popefootball.com under the Registration tab. COST & AGE: $75 per camper for ages 7 – 14 years old COACHES: Kyle Adkins, Pope Head Football Coach, and the Pope Varsity coaching staff. INFO: The purpose of this non-contact camp is to provide the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of football in a highly structured setting, and teach leadership, team-building, and self-improvement skills. Campers will receive instruction on both offense and defense, and learn drills and fundamental techniques for passing, receiving, blocking and coverage. Activities include skilled instruction from the Pope High School Football staff, team drills, and 7-on-7 competition.
WHAT TO BRING: Campers should wear t-shirt, shorts, cleats (preferred) or tennis shoes, and water. Campers will receive a camp T-shirt. For more information visit the Pope Football website, or contact Abbie Woyce at 770-596-6514.

The Pope Soccer Program will be offering Three Sessions of Soccer Camp this Summer. Camp Dates are June 20th-23rd and July 25th-28th. The Rising 1st-5th Grade Session will be offered on June 20th-23rd from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The First Session of the Rising 6th-9th Grade Session will be offered on June 20th-23rd from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The Second Session of the Rising 6th-9th Grade Session will be offered on July 25th-28th from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Click here to register for camp. |
| June 20th – 23rd The Pope softball team will be holding their 4th annual softball skills camp from June 20 – June 23 from 9 AM – 12 Noon at the Pope High School softball field. This camp will be for students ages 6 – 12. Please visit www.popefastpitch.net and click the camp link for all information regarding the camp. Information forms can be downloaded from the site and mailed to Pope High School c/o Coach Chris Turco with a $115 check made out to the Pope Fastpitch booster club. | June 13-17, 2016 8:30am-2:30pm Camp Location: LDS Church, 3195 Trickum Road NE, Marietta Boys entering 1st - 5th grade in Fall 2016 are invited to attend the Cub Scouts Day Camp. Boys need to be registered as a cub scout with Pack 770 by the registration deadline of April 19. The day camp’s theme is “Cub Scout Investigators!†This is a fun low-cost camp ($100 or less) that gives the boys a chance to do some things they can’t in the cub scout den meetings, such as archery or bb guns. The boys also will get a jump on earning beltloops for their new scout rank. Boys in the same grade level will be grouped together in a “den†for the week. | Location :Walton High School (approximately 1 mile NW of the intersection of Johnson Ferry and Route 120) Times and Ages :2 Sessions ---- 1st Week – Monday thru Thursday (7/11 - 7/14/16) – 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (Ages 8-11 and 12-15) 2nd Week – Monday thru Thursday (7/18 - 7/21/16) – 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (Ages 8-11 and 12-15) It's a 4 day camp for each session. Please note that we are accepting all ages for both sessions. Walton High School has 2 separate gyms--each age bracket will have its own gym. Matt will be involved with both gyms. Both sessions are for both Boys and Girls. There will be a cut-off after we reach a max number for each camp. Full Session Price: Full Session Price is $270 per child, $500 for 2 children from same family or for 1 child attending both sessions, and for families sending 3 children, the cost is $710.
